"Remind" messaging instructions:
Remind is a program that allows teachers to send out announcements via text message to any student/parent that "joins" the class via their cell phone. It is a safe way to communicate (I will never see any numbers, and you can't see mine...the service acts as a middle man). See more info HERE
This is a voluntary service but highly recommended. Parents are welcome to subscribe as well. I will use it to remind all subscribers about important dates like: test days, review sessions, last day to turn in work, etc. I do not plan on sending messages every week and overloading your phone, and I am not using it as a two-way chatting-type of service. It will be for announcements only.

AP Psychology Objectives Packet
Sem. 1 Learning Objectives:
Sem. 2 Learning Objectives
NOTeS format (Notes, Objectives, Terms, Synthesis Paragraph)
NOTeS MUST be hand-written by YOU…unless I give you a PDF to work with. But, but, but….Why?! This is because we will have open-note reading quizzes…no ipads allowed…the textbook is right there! Sheesh! Also…typing then printing is not allowed because, can you believe it, I’ve had one student doing the work for 10 using email/printer help. Sneaky students! If you’d like to read empirical evidence on the benefits of hand-writing on paper, you can check out several links on the home page.
GRADING
NOTeS will be graded randomly using two methods: 1 - spot checks during warm-ups OR 2 - open-NOTeS reading quizzes
Spot Checks - full points will only be awarded if...
