     1.  Explain what Keller meant when she said that “the future of America rests on the backs of 80,000,000 working men and women and their children.”
     2.  Cite Keller’s explanation of the motive Congress had in preparing for war.
     3.  Instead of preparing for war, Keller states, “the kind of preparedness the workers want is reorganization and reconstruction of their whole life, such
as has never been attempted by statesmen or governments.” Explain what Keller meant.
