You will be defending ("arguing") a viewpoint from the list below.  Choose a prompt you feel you can easily defend with historic facts.  This is NOT purely an opinion piece....you must use evidence from history to support your point.

Essay Prompt Options:
  1. What event of the Cold War impacted the U.S. the most?
